one month to the day

okay so it seems that this thing is dying slowly, so here's what i propose; lets come up with a meeting time that will lend itself to more member availability. please write me with your top three preferred meeting times and we'll find the one thats most congruent with everyone's schedules. lets remember our constants; second sunday 1230pm,20 decades in front of the city hall, wed in front of the murder factory, sat night 11pm adoration at Our Lady of Mercy, and any time one feels inspired to go out as a small group or pair and talk to people in public. please start emailing or texting me with your ideas for ministry. remember this group is YOUR ministry, and i'm here to facilitate.
i love you guys and wish you all merry Christ Mass.
and please come visit and buy coffee whenever you can!!!!!!!!

here we go

so i have spoken to the agape prayer group about the posibility of joining forces for a tent pray type of ministry and they're very excited about the prospect, and about ya'lls interest. we'll meet with them on the wednesday following thanksgiving at 6pm, so remind me that we need to go to that. they've also offered to train us in healing prayer and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. pretty exciting contact we've made with them so stay tuned.
also, and i probably should've opened with this, sorry for the last minute cancellation last week. the coffee shop has got me running ragged. we are on for this saturday at 8pm at holy family and i'll have points recording sheets for everybody.
btw. i'm about to hit the 180 mark and expect to do so by our meeting!!!!!!!

get on it!!!!!!!

thanks elisabeth for the idea for the wswa colaborative, we'll make that work with a better group and i appreciate you taking the lead on that.
anybody who has an idea, let me know. we'll talk about it and you can take the lead too.

more to come.......

rosary praying changes the world

anybody ever feel like praying is just wishful thinking? try this on for size; THE STUPAK AMMENDMENT PASSED!!!!!!!!!
this represents a tremendous victory for Catholic ideals in our political arena in washington dc. the stupak ammendment is a change to the proposed universal healthcare bill that is intended to keep taxpayer money from being used for abortion. now we all know that as long as these sadists are in control they will find a way to take your money and mine and fund abortions with it, but this shows that at least on paper, our message is getting through!!! this shows me that it is the power of prayer that made this change; that so so so many democratic members voted opposite of their own party's agenda. why else would they? of course satan's Catholic figurehead, nancy pelosi stuck to her guns and voted against it but her colleagues are feeling our prayer.

thank you so much to my troops who prayed with me last night, and thankyou to my additional troops who joined us today at city hall. its working. the truth is doing just what it should. no time to pat ourselves on the back, we merely dodged a single bullet this time and they have a whole lot more in the chamber. lets keep at it and keep adding to our ranks. those of you who brought friends, good work keep doing that. find those kids who are like us, we need them and they need us.

as of now we have 4 memberships paid and 2 partially paid. help me out by submitting your fees as soon as you can. if you want to meet on the inbetween and give it to me then, just give me a call or text me.

for those who couldnt join us today, we have a new goal in the midst of our others, the S.W.A.T. (which stands for special weapons and tactics) patch will be earned by doing what we call a 20X20. that is 20 times meeting with other group members to pray the full 20 decade rosary. say one set for the babies, one for the church suffering, one for the Holy Father's intentions, and one for your own intentions. keep track of them and after twenty, join S.W.A.T.

i'll get to work on the mission objectives that we discussed last night and update when i can. plan on meeting again next week at 8pm at holy family, and send me some ideas of what youd like to discuss at that time( specific areas of interest please) and i'll be happy to oblige.

God bless.

wed morning at the kill station

quick update, for those of you planning to meet me at the women's health specialist clinic, and join the carenet crew in prayer, please continue to do so without me. i have been called to merced california, to supervise the completion of a high voltage tie-in at a solar power plant, that i began a few months ago. i'll be stuck down here through sunday night, so no meeting either. praise Jesus for this work that my family will benefit from so much, and pray for me that i am safe and come home without incident. i will miss you all til then. please remember your vow, take it seriously, and get to work. lets here about those points.

Sunday, October 18, 2009

wed morning

when we were at the carenet walk, i heard mention of a meeting at the womens health specialist (murder factory), on victor ave. from 9am to 12pm. i'll be there and a couple of members will be joining me. please come out if you can.

walk for life

thank you all who joined us at the walk today, we were well received because we were well represented. claire, lauren, and elise, made their vow today before the event and joe and aj made theirs last night before we went to the young adult group to recruit.
the walk was short and sweet and culminated in the releasing of pro-life balloons in the park behind the civic auditorium, then we went and held hands across the broken watch bridge, followed by photo ops and some delicious hot dogs from the barby. the kids had their faces painted and everyone had a wonderful experience.
i cant describe how happy it made me to see young people dedicated and organized against abortion and looking so sharp in their brand new uniform brassards. by the way, i'm smoking all of you with points, 74 already, i hope you're all working hard on your points and keeping track of them, keep a journal of the items you want to submit for points, and check in with me about how its going.
so any way thanks again and stay posted for next week's group mission.

now lets talk cheese

okay everybody we have pinned down the membership fee to $25 dollars for lifetime membership. this membership comes with a shoulder brassard w/embroidery of the logo, and a t-shirt with the full size emblem on the front, and a laminated pocket card containing the vow that is made to join those of you who have already joined, see what you can do to come up with this asap, and those of you preparing to join, be prepared to have it ready.

sorry for the urgent tone, but i have so far carried this out of pocket and due to buying in bulk to keep the membership fee down, the pockets have run empty.

i thank you all in advance for your prompt attention to this

needs to be addressed

i cant help the feeling that some things are going unnoticed and i think we need to clear the air before it bites us on the butt.

first, i understand that you all have busy lives and commitments to a great number of things in this world. but i cant shake this feeling that the majority of you feel that you're doing me a favor by participating at all in the underground apostolate.
this is a problem.
i feel that i went to sufficient lengths to describe the gravity of the commitment you made to yourselves and to God when you made the vow. however it feels as though most of you have yet to take this seriously. i say most because its not all, a couple of you seem to really love this thing, as i do.

saturday night we had a special meeting to install new members and i asked that the group be there to support them in making their vow, only one group member besides myself showed up, thats fine, almost everybody had a valid reason to not show and almost everybody gave me a heads up that they wouldnt be there.

sunday afternoon, we had an event at city hall, we all sat together and decided on a time that worked for all of us even to the point of everybody catering to one's very moveable, very postponeable or advanceable meeting. point is that we all agreed on a time that we could make a public witness in our city and some chose not to show. worse still is that with the exception of two, they didn't give a heads-up so we started late, not knowing if they would show or not.

as i said, i understand being busy and not always being in control of where and when you can do things, and having a host of things expected of you throughout every day. i do NOT, i repeat i do NOT, expect anyone to make this a first prioriy if it is not in their heart to do so, that is simply not required. but as i made clear in my explanation of your vows, i do expect you to prioritize it when you can.
homework can be done sooner, meeting for other purposes can be moved. i just expect that you would give this commitment you have made, the same respect that you give whatever it is that is out-weighing it thus far.

dont get down. you're all wonderful, and youve done a great thing by commiting to yourselves to do this, so lets do this.

rosary warriors

so let me paint the picture, we're going to city hall to pray all twenty decades of the rosary. upon arrival i see that there is a demon-stration at city hall, out by cypress ave, where homosexuals and supporters of the homosexual lifestyle, are holding signs about "equality now", and how they are "out and proud". as it turns out yesterday was national "out" day, and a helluva good day to pray a rosary at city hall!
so we decided that each set of mysteries that we prayed were for a different intention, the joyful, for positive pro-life legislation at the national level, the luminous for father eric, the sorrowful for the holy father's intentions, and the glorious for the people with signs 'out' (pun intended) on the road.
so we begin praying, and through the joyful mysteries the people out on the road are hooting and hollering and cars are honking like crazy and they're having a gay ol' time.
as we pray the luminous mysteries, i notice that the hooting and hollering has completely subsided, yet the honking, and support for buggery that is coming from the drivers that pass is still flooding these people's demon-stration.
as we pray the sorrowful mysteries the honking seems to fade out and subside completely as if they were no longer appreciated by the passers-by and their demon-stration no longer had any energy.

as we began to pray the glorious mysteries i see that the protest is dissolving and that they are all heading for their cars.

it was a beautiful day and a powerful witness. i thank the two group members and multiple supporters that joined us. we will do this 20 decade rosary on the second sunday of every month, at 1230pm on the steps of the city hall from now on.

so far so good

okay here we are, i completed the logo adaptation for the t-shirts, and ordered the t-shirts. the logo adaptation is the precious feet shield we decided upon with arched letters above reading "quodcumque nos operor" in plain germanica font, and "ut minimus cuius populus" in arched plain germanica below. we ordered 24 of them for now cause i'm comin out of pocket and broke. members get them included in membership and whatever's left goes for $15.

i, a; found out that the technical name of the shoulder things is a brassard and b; made the brassards tonight, well for the most part at least, my friend shannon is finishing with the velcro and the end stitch but will be done soon.

i have spoken to the embroidery guy about the logo and i'll drop the drawing off tomorrow, so soon we'll be ready.

last but not least, i'm off and running with 20 points, so eat my dust.

see you guys this saturday for a short meeting and icecream, and sunday for prayin at the city.

off and running

Grrrreat meeting last night.
things that are decided;
the logo above will officially be the coat of arms for this group and will adorn any swag, propaganda, and uniform elements from now on. i'll get to work having the colors commisioned.
this group will no longer be referred to as this group, by unanimous decree, we shall from now on be the "UNDERGROUND APOSTOLATE" which is super convenient for me cause thats what ive been using in place of a name anyway.
our credo will remain the nicene creed with our additional statements at the end.
the incentive and promotion scale will be instituted as presented with options to add elements.

we will have a short meeting on the 10th at 8pm for the addition of members and then head for cold stone, so bring ice cream money and think about transportation.

the next day, the 11th at 1230pm in front of city hall we will begin our group activity. we will join to pray a twenty decade rosary at the fountain.

the following week we will participate in the local walk for life on saturday the 17th, comfortable shoes, rosaries, and in uniform.

we are only 5 strong for now, but strong all the same, soon we will grow but let us never lose the spirit that we have now, that of a small family, working to build the kingdom.

realize that this movement will require frequently that you reschedule, bump up, or move back previously scheduled activities, in short this movement will be the thing that takes precedent over most things (not to include school, family emergency, etc.)
that is what my vows mean to you, and what yours mean to me.

GOD SPEED, EVER UPWARD.

update, update

i will be returning friday evening the 16th and will be present and participating in the local walk for life with the group. yeeeeeeeeeeehawww! tonight we will be meeting at holy family for the induction of the first of our members and all are invited to join us. we will discuss the walk for life in a few weeks and what we can do to start ramping up our activity. we will review the way this group will work for our compadres who couldn't join us last week and look at options for our logo.
hope to see you all there.
god speed, ever upward.

father noman's arrest

the video shown of Father Norman Westlin's arrest while protesting at Notre Dame earlier this year probably did more than anything to inspire the formation of this group. how can it be that this footage actually exists? a small part of me still wants to believe that this was staged as a far right propaganda tool and that this could never actually happen. nevertheless this was not staged, this did happen, and this is the world we live in.

and a special thanks for those noble, brave, public servants, who brought this public menace to justice, lets hear it for these "heroes". isn't that their official title now in this post 9/11 world?
even giving these pieces of.......work, the benefit of the doubt, and assuming that they hated having to do this, and were only following orders, can't you just here the idealistic rookie they were a few years prior to this incident, bloviating to anyone who questioned their career path? "no, no, no, i'll never be that kind of cop" just how far will you sink to keep your job, do you think they ever expected to recieve this assignment? and yet they arrest an octagenerian preist whos protesting against murder at a Catholic university.
yeah yeah, bang up job your doing, heroes i sure hope my sons want to be cops, i'm sure they wouldnt be corrupted by the uniform, im sure your parents are proud. way to be.

any way a line has been drawn and we need to counteract these types of incidents by forcibly injecting possitivity into this world. they dont want us to wake up, they want us to be good little Americans and watch the programming thats provided for us, and support our president the, messiah and just pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, while they and their steel toed boots rome the streets picking up any dissenters like the deplorable villain father norman.

i say no, we get out and make positive things happen. we overwhelm the population with hope. what a jolt it would be for most americans to find out that there are kids who want to spend time with a person that predates their video game by 60 or 70 years. imagine the shock for them to find teenagers awake at 8am on a saturday and giving food to a homeless person who is just shaking of the freezing night that preceded. maybe they'd reconsider their views, maybe they'd take notice of the fact that they just elected a murderer to run a country where the overwhelming majority of its people dont support abortion rights. maybe they'd take a second look at why in the world a black president would accept the backing of a racist organization bent on the destruction of his own people.

maybe?
